• Literacy

I have extensive training and experience in literacy and the science of reading, including remediating and providing support strategies for reading and writing disorders (including structured literacy intervention for dyslexia, such as the Orton-Gillingham approach), as well as the treatment of other language-based and executive function disorders that can impact reading and written expression in the school, workplace, and community. My combined experience as a speech-language pathologist, writer, and editor gives me a unique perspective on helping individuals access written text and express themselves in writing—from strengthening underlying grammar skills and applying strategies to finding and sharing their personal voice.

  • Executive Function

Disorders that impact executive function, including ADHD, can reduce the ability to effectively engage in education, particularly during high school, college, and graduate school. Effective strategies for time management, prioritization, task initiation, and language for real-world problem-solving can help children and adults succeed in school, the workplace, and beyond!

I believe in a person-centered approach—meeting clients where they are without judgement and finding the strategies that help each person succeed. Every person is unique and requires a tailored plan that meets their own needs and goals.

Good Faith Estimate

Under Federal law, health care providers must give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services to be provided. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
